for 21 years, i realized that not everything we dreamed our life to be after graduation would be the exact same thing that happens to us. School was one of the best restricted place that can somehow prepare us of the real world. Inside our alma mater, there are rules that binds us all. Rules that controls us to be good people, citizens and even co-workers. Our schools teaches us how to respect one another, play fair and strive to be better. After college, when it is time to face the real world, it is a whole new different ballgame. Fairness is a different story, ethics is a word that is very difficult to understand, judgment is free, friends are like shirts that come off easily, stress is what you eat for breakfast and pressure is you best companion. These are some of those that can try us. They can even destroy our dreams and aspirations. They can even teach us to be like those people that surrounds us. They can make us cry and wish that this was not the path that we chose.
Everyday we strive for better days, wishing for a better life. I have learned that success should be worked for. Success also is not about the money that you earn or the fame or even the position you are in. It will always be doing what you love. Life’s success is loving what you do and doing it with the people you love or care about. And success will not fall right in front of you. You dream of it, you work hard for it and you catch it with your hands. You must always move for it. There is a reason why we still wake up everyday. It is because God cheers for us to always try again tomorrow if we fail to catch our dreams today.
Another day to try and another day to dream.
